Is the tooth nerve removed during a dental implant?

When you have an implant, the entire tooth is gone. The implant is attached to the jaw bone. But if too much pressure is being placed on the crown when biting and chewing. the implant can become sore and may be damaged. So the first thing to do is to have the bite adjusted.
