Will my father be denied purchase of my foreclosed home because of same last name?

Hello and thank you for your service.My mother ped away and at the time she was in a reverse mortgage so i was able to get a loan and i bought the house.unfortunately i was laid off and the house foreclosed. Subsequently, Fannie Mae bought the house.My Father wants to purchase the house and move into it. My question is... will he have problems buying the property having the same last name as me? i.e. conflict of interest etc. I'm not moving back in nor do I have any interests in the property. His credit is impeccable. He's also putting down 20% cash.
