Can u get arrested for going to visit someone incarcerated & lying about relation? saying ur a sister, ect.??

Boyfriend was arrested... I dont know why he's saying to say i'm his sister when i come to visit? Could i be punished for visiting if i'm not immediate family??? Supposed to go tomorrow, Please let me know!!!
