Matthew 7:7-8, What shall we ask for? What shall we seek? What door shall we knock upon?

We can ask for everything but will every thing be good for us. so i would say ask for truth and knowledge and wisdom along with knowledge. Ask for things that will glorify God and enlarge His kingdom. Ask for doors of opportunity to open to you so you can grow to service God. God hears all requests but don't always say yes. Sometimes He says wait sometimes He says No and sometimes He gives right away. So it is all in God's hands and control. Your asking should be for good things that will help you mature and for things that would help others. It is not a selfish asking. We can ask for our needs to be met. He gives us things we don't ask for too. He knows what you need and want and will give accordingly. God is good. Asking is one way we say to God all comes from you.
