AEM vs. Spyder?

AEM intake is about 250 and is obviously well known, but because a Spyder intake is about 80, does that mean its def. worse or is it your just buying the name. Cause if im gonna spend almost 200 more i better be getting a whole lot more. If i did get the spyder i'd replace the filter but still. is the spyder worse of is it just cause it doesnt have that AEM name
