Should I buy a new high-end doublewide, or a fixer-upper home?

I can only afford a loan for approximately $85,000. In this area, I can get a top of the line doublewide mobile home for this price. I have looked for homes, and can only find "fixer uppers." Since doublewides are so well built now, do they have a better resale? Should I just buy a home which is sure to appreciate with work? HELP PLEASE.
